Fluxus Box “Pinhead” masking tape, acrylic paint, spray paint, foam board, model magic, blue LED lights, nails Height: 15” Length: 15” Width: 15” Artist Statement: This box was inspired by the movie “Hellraiser”. I took inspiration from the color pallet, gore aesthetics, and structural aspects of the movie. The color pallet is my favorite part of the piece because it plays off the over-saturated complementary blue and orange colors. The shape being a perfect square is symbolic of the movie’s cube that summons another dimension.
